Creates an alternative process for nominating presidential electors when a political party lacks any candidates for senate or assembly, state officers, or holdover state senators in a presidential election year

Authorizes the state party chairperson to nominate presidential electors directly instead of holding a convention at the state capitol

Requires one presidential elector from each congressional district plus 2 at-large electors from the state

Mandates certification of elector nominees to the commission chairperson by 10 a.m. on the first Tuesday in October preceding the presidential election

Enacted October 31, 2025; effective November 1, 2025
