Creates new crime of sexual extortion (s. 942.095) covering threats to injure property/reputation, commit violence, or distribute intimate images to coerce someone into sexual conduct, producing intimate representations, or providing money/property/services

Base offense is a Class I felony; elevated to Class H felony if victim complies with demands, suffers great bodily harm, or actor is within 48 months of age of minor victim; Class G felony if actor has prior sexually violent offense conviction, is more than 48 months older than minor victim, or offense occurs during child abduction; Class B felony if victim dies

Adds sexual extortion to list of offenses that may trigger sex offender registration requirements, background check disqualifications for child care workers, and educator license revocation

Expands crime victim compensation eligibility to include victims of suicide or attempted suicide if a crime (including sexual extortion) was a substantial causal factor in the suicide
