Creates a nutrient loss reduction grant program administered by DATCP to help farmers purchase enhanced efficiency fertilizer products, implement variable rate technology, or prepare nutrient management plans

Grant amounts capped at $7/acre or 50% of cost for enhanced efficiency fertilizers, $8/acre or 50% of cost for variable rate technology soil sampling, and $2/acre or 50% of cost for nutrient management plans

Maximum annual grant amount per recipient is $20,000, with farmers able to combine multiple eligible activities in a single grant

Agricultural retailers may submit grant applications on behalf of farmers

Applicants must attest they are not receiving other funding for the same activities and provide receipts, land information, and acknowledge DATCP may aggregate and share land-related data
