Prohibits changing the sex on a Wisconsin birth record to anything other than the individual's biological sex, defined as male or female based on sex chromosomes

Eliminates the existing legal pathway that allowed sex changes on birth records following surgical sex-change procedures

Bars courts from ordering amendments to the sex designation on birth records to a sex other than biological sex

Removes "name change with sex change" as a recognized court order type that triggers birth record amendments

Applies prospectively to court orders issued and petitions filed on or after the bill's effective date
