Temporary restraining orders require immediate firearm surrender upon personal service by law enforcement; if not personally served, respondent must surrender firearms within 24 hours and file a receipt with the court within 48 hours

Injunction hearings must occur within 14 days of a TRO issuance; courts may grant injunctions for up to one year based on clear and convincing evidence, with option for renewal

Possessing a firearm while subject to an ERPO TRO or injunction is a Class G felony; filing a false petition constitutes false swearing, a Class H felony

Appropriates $700,000 annually to the Department of Administration for grants to train law enforcement on identifying at-risk individuals and filing ERPO petitions
