Eliminates the $15 annual personalization fee for gold star family special registration plates, which are issued to immediate family members of U.S. armed forces members who died during military conflict

Gold star family plate holders already exempt from the $15 special registration fee under current law; this bill extends the exemption to cover personalization fees for maintenance and reissuance

Amends Wisconsin statute 341.145(3) to add gold star families (specified under s. 341.14 (6r) (f) 19m.) to fee exemptions

Takes effect on the first day of the 7th month after publication
