Advanced practice nurse prescribers (APNPs) certified under s. 441.16(2) to issue prescription orders would be authorized to pronounce the date, time, and place of a patient's death for death record preparation

APNPs must be directly involved with the care of the patient who dies and must follow accepted medical standards when making the pronouncement

Amends the statutory definition of "date of death" to include pronouncements made by advanced practice nurse prescribers alongside physicians, naturopathic doctors, coroners, medical examiners, physician assistants, and hospice nurses
