Expands child labor permit requirements from minors under 16 to all minors (anyone under 18 years of age) for gainful employment and street trade work

Employers must obtain written permits from the Department of Workforce Development or designated permit officers before employing any minor

Maintains existing exemptions for minors employed under apprentice contracts, those 12+ engaged in farming, those 14+ in youth apprenticeship programs, and minors doing household work not connected to a business

Adds new exemption allowing minors to work without a permit as election inspectors

Takes effect on the first day of the 7th month after publication
