Appropriates $250,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2026-27 to fund the program

Creates 2.0 FTE positions including a program director to administer suicide prevention activities

Program must coordinate with other state agencies, administer grant programs, develop county-level public awareness campaigns, and maintain a website with crisis hotline links and mental health resources

Annual reports to the legislature required beginning January 1, 2027, detailing suicide prevention activities and grant program information
