Requires the Department of Transportation to procure and erect signs marking the Mississippi River Trail within 18 months after all municipalities along the Great River Road route approve resolutions supporting the trail and confirming routes through their jurisdictions.

Municipalities located on the Great River Road (established under s. 84.107) must each pass a resolution expressing support for the Mississippi River Trail effort and identifying the trail route through their area.

DOT must notify the Legislative Reference Bureau once all municipal approvals are received, triggering publication of a notice in the Wisconsin Administrative Register specifying that date.

DOT may request supplemental funding from the Joint Committee on Finance for sign procurement and erection, with the committee waived from the standard requirement to find an emergency exists before approving the supplement.
