Repeals the requirement that physicians must perform a physical exam and be physically present when administering abortion-inducing drugs

Eliminates the requirement that physicians performing abortions have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of the procedure location (previously held unenforceable by the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in 2015)

Removes abortion-specific informed consent requirements, including the mandatory 24-hour waiting period and in-person delivery of certain information and written materials before an abortion

Repeals the felony prohibition (up to $10,000 fine or 3.5 years imprisonment) for non-physicians performing abortions, while maintaining other existing abortion restrictions such as the post-viability prohibition

Takes effect the day after publication, with certain Medical Examining Board provisions taking effect March 1, 2026
