Department of Public Instruction must develop and implement a pilot program for professional development for K-12 science teachers during the 2025-26 and 2026-27 school years, in collaboration with Wisconsin nonprofit organizations

Science equipment related to professional development opportunities may be provided at no cost to participating teachers for classroom use

DPI must submit a report to the legislature by October 1, 2027 detailing the number of participants, equipment provided, and organizations that delivered the professional development

Funding requires DPI to submit a request within 45 days to the Joint Committee on Finance to supplement appropriations using funds from 2025 Wisconsin Act 15

If the Joint Committee on Finance does not approve the appropriation supplement by June 1, 2026, DPI is not required to implement the program or submit the report
