Eliminates the general prohibition against carrying a concealed weapon without a license, establishing constitutional carry in Wisconsin while maintaining the optional concealed carry license system for reciprocity with other states and federal gun-free school zone compliance

Removes state-law background check requirements for concealed carry licenses, limiting DOJ checks to only federal firearm prohibitions rather than both state and federal law

Reduces the hunting restriction distance from hospitals, sanatoriums, and schools from 1,700 feet to 1,200 feet, and eliminates the prohibition on loading firearms (other than handguns) in vehicles

Expands prohibited locations for firearms to include places declared a nuisance and any location prohibited under federal law, while standardizing penalties so any person violating firearm-prohibited-place restrictions faces a Class A misdemeanor (up to $10,000 fine or 9 months imprisonment)

Broadens employer protections by preventing employers from prohibiting any employee from carrying weapons or storing weapons in personal vehicles as a condition of employment, regardless of concealed carry license status
