Department of Natural Resources must notify county health departments, tribal health departments, and county land and conservation departments when groundwater protection standards or PFAS standards are exceeded

Notifications must be sent within 7 business days after DNR verifies an exceedance has occurred

Adjacent counties that may be negatively affected by the exceedance must also receive notification

DNR is required to create and maintain a notification system for alerting local and tribal health departments of these exceedances

Takes effect on the first day of the 7th month after publication
