Department of Public Instruction must award 4-year grants to school boards that enter into whole grade sharing agreements, beginning in the 2026-27 school year

Grant amount equals $500 per pupil enrolled in a grade level covered by the whole grade sharing agreement each school year

DPI cannot award new grants unless appropriated funds are sufficient to fully pay all previously awarded grants

School boards receiving grants must submit annual reports to DPI describing how grant money was used in the previous school year

DPI must submit annual reports to the Joint Committee on Finance detailing which school boards received grants and how funds were used
