Prohibits insurers, pharmacy benefit managers, and utilization review organizations from requiring step therapy protocols for drugs prescribed to treat metastatic cancer or cancer-associated conditions

Applies only to drugs that are FDA-approved, consistent with best practices for treatment, and supported by peer-reviewed evidence-based research

Defines "metastatic cancer" as cancer that has spread from the original site to nearby tissues, lymph nodes, or other body areas

Defines "cancer-associated condition" as any symptom or side effect of metastatic cancer or its treatment that would further jeopardize patient health if untreated

Amends existing Wisconsin statute 632.866, which currently requires clinical review criteria for step therapy protocols and provides an exception request process
