State agencies and local governments are prohibited from restricting the use or sale of motor vehicles based on their energy source, whether for propulsion or other vehicle functions

Government entities retain the ability to set their own policies for purchasing motor vehicles for their own use

"Motor vehicle" is defined as a self-propelled device designed to transport persons or property

Amends Wisconsin Statutes section 20.931, expanding the existing "Prohibited boycotts" statute to cover these energy source restrictions
