Requires firearm owners who reside with a person prohibited from possessing firearms to store their firearms in a securely locked box, container, or locked location, or with a trigger lock engaged when not carrying the firearm

First violation constitutes a Class A misdemeanor; second or subsequent violations constitute a Class I felony

Applies when residing with persons prohibited from firearm possession under state law, including convicted felons, those found not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect, those subject to domestic abuse/child abuse/harassment injunctions, and those involuntarily committed for mental health treatment

Amends Wisconsin statutes 941.29 and 973.123 to create the new storage requirement and associated penalties
