Department of Health Services must award grants to 10 counties to fund economic support specialist positions at Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs)

$1,000,000 appropriated for fiscal year 2025-26; six grants must be distributed with preference to 2 rural, 2 suburban, and 2 urban counties

If funding remains after the initial 10 grants, DHS may award a grant to an 11th county

Grant recipients must submit an effectiveness report to DHS and the legislature within one year, including estimated number of individuals served

Grant application window closes 12 months after the act takes effect; the appropriation repeals on July 1, 2027
