Adds maternal and child health service providers as a priority category for minority health program grants administered by the Department of Health Services

Grants fund activities to improve health status of economically disadvantaged minority group members, with a maximum of $50,000 per applicant per fiscal year

Grant recipients must provide matching funds of at least 50% of the grant amount, which may include in-kind contributions

Applicants that are not federally qualified health centers already receive priority under existing law; maternal and child health providers would now also receive priority
