Patrick Eli Fuller (February 24, 1954 – January 30, 2025) served as Wisconsin Assembly Chief Clerk from 2003 to 2021, spanning 10 legislative sessions under both Republican and Democratic majorities

Served 25 years in the U.S. military, including 13 years in the Marine Corps and subsequent service in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division, retiring in 1997 as a lieutenant colonel

Deployed during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm as commander of the Long Range Surveillance Detachment, 82nd Airborne Division

Received numerous military honors including the Meritorious Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Ranger Tab, and Kuwait Liberation Medal

Wisconsin State Legislature formally honors Fuller's life and public service and extends condolences to his wife Cheryl, son Samuel John, and grandson Nikoli
