Creates a new Section 1m in Article I of the Wisconsin Constitution establishing that "the people have an individual and fundamental right to privacy" as "a necessary part of a free society"

First consideration passage by the 2025 legislature; requires adoption by the next legislature and voter ratification to become effective

Introduced February 6, 2026, with 34 Assembly sponsors and 11 Senate cosponsors; referred to Committee on State Affairs

Authorizes the chief of the Legislative Reference Bureau to resolve any numbering conflicts if other constitutional amendments affecting the same section are ratified
