Over 360,000 skiers have participated since 1973, with the 2026 event expecting participants from at least 25 countries and 49 states

The over-100-kilometer recreational trail was ranked the #1 cross-country ski destination in the U.S. in 2016 and draws an estimated 100,000 visitors annually to northwestern Wisconsin

Directs the assembly chief clerk to provide a copy of the resolution to the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
