Wisconsin Assembly Joint Resolution 142 celebrates the 115th anniversary of Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America), which was incorporated on February 8, 1910 and received federal charter on June 15, 1916

Scouting is the world's largest voluntary youth movement with over 60 million participants globally and more than 130 million members since 1910

Wisconsin has 31,070 youth members and 13,274 volunteers who performed over 201,000 hours of community service valued at more than $6 million, collected over 406,000 pounds of food, and produced 655 Eagle Scouts in 2024

The Wisconsin Legislature expresses support for Scouting America and the values of the Scout Oath and Law, encouraging citizens and organizations to recognize and support the Scouting tradition
