Undergraduate admission decisions at UW System institutions must be predominantly based on college entrance examination performance (ACT, SAT, or similar standardized tests) or other objective testing measures

Wisconsin high school students admitted through the existing guaranteed admission program (top 10% of class, or top 5% for UW-Madison based on GPA) are exempt from the standardized testing requirement

Prohibitions remain in place against using sectarian, partisan, or discriminatory tests based on race, religion, national origin of U.S. citizens, or sex in admissions
