Repeals Wisconsin statute 66.0104, which currently prohibits local governments from regulating residential landlords

Would restore local authority to restrict landlords from using tenant screening information such as income, court records, rental history, and credit information

Would allow municipalities to impose rental property registration, licensing, certification, and inspection requirements beyond current state law

Would permit local governments to enact additional security deposit rules and limit landlord damage recovery rights
