Department of Health Services must convene a working group by June 1, 2026 to address statewide coordination of the Medical Assistance program and improve recipient experiences following changes under Public Law 119-21

Required working group members include representatives from DHS, an aging and disability resource center, a multicounty consortium or tribal governing body administering income maintenance programs, a state legislator, a health care provider, and a Medical Assistance recipient

Working group must submit findings and recommendations to DHS and appropriate legislative standing committees within 6 months of first convening

DHS may include additional members as deemed necessary beyond the six required representatives
