Eliminates state-imposed limits on local governments' authority to regulate short-term rentals of residential properties

Repeals the current prohibition preventing cities, villages, towns, and counties from banning rentals of 7 consecutive days or longer

Removes the restriction that generally prevented local governments from limiting short-term rentals to fewer than 180 days per year

Gives Wisconsin municipalities full authority to regulate, restrict, or prohibit short-term vacation rentals as they see fit
