Extends the deadline for military families to submit alternative open enrollment applications from 30 days to 90 days after military orders are issued that change their place of residence.

Clarifies that qualifying military orders include orders from any branch of the U.S. armed forces, reserve components, state defense force, or the national guard of any state.

Applies to alternative open enrollment applications received on or after the act's effective date.

Amends Wisconsin statute 118.51 (3m) (b) 4., which allows pupils to apply for open enrollment outside the standard application period when residency changes due to military orders.
