Repeals Wisconsin statute 164.05, which contains the law enforcement officers' bill of rights

Current law protects officers' rights regarding political activity, interrogation procedures, and candidacy for public office

Current law prohibits discharge, discipline, demotion, or denial of promotion/transfer for exercising these rights

Existing protections apply only to law enforcement officers employed by cities, villages, towns, or counties
