Department of Health Services required to award grants to mental health clubhouses, with a total cap of $300,000 per fiscal year and maximum $50,000 per clubhouse per fiscal year

Clubhouses defined as nonresidential rehabilitation programs providing support services to individuals with mental illness or awaiting diagnosis, but not directly providing treatment or medical care

Eligible clubhouses must require matching funds, offer voluntary membership, maintain distinct physical space separate from mental health centers, and allow members to participate in administration and operations

All clubhouse members must have a mental illness diagnosis or be awaiting diagnosis and currently under treatment

Grant program sunsets on June 30, 2030, with appropriations of $300,000 in both fiscal years 2025-26 and 2026-27
