Department of Public Instruction must provide stipend payments to school social worker interns beginning in the 2026-27 school year

Eligible recipients must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program leading to school social worker licensure and placed as an intern in a public school governed by a school board

Appropriates $2,000,000 in general purpose revenue for fiscal year 2025-26 and $2,000,000 for fiscal year 2026-27

Takes effect the day after publication or the 2nd day after publication of the 2025 biennial budget act, whichever is later
