Extends the statute of limitations for prosecuting the crime of hiding a corpse under s. 940.11(2) to either the standard time limit or 6 years from when the corpse was discovered or identified, whichever is later

Creates new statutory section 939.74(2)(ap) to establish this extended prosecution window

Applies retroactively to any case where the existing statute of limitations has not yet expired as of the effective date

Enacted December 9, 2025 and took effect December 11, 2025
