Advanced practice nurse prescribers certified under s. 441.16 (2) to issue prescription orders may now pronounce the date, time, and place of death for patients under their direct care

Adds advanced practice nurse prescribers to the list of professionals authorized to determine "date of death," joining physicians, naturopathic doctors, coroners, medical examiners, physician assistants, and hospice nurses

Creates a statutory definition of "advanced practice nurse prescriber" for death record purposes

Pronouncements must be made in accordance with accepted medical standards and are for preparation of death records
