Creates a new local traffic calming grant program administered by the Department of Transportation to fund infrastructure projects designed to reduce vehicular traffic speeds

Appropriates $60,000,000 from the general fund for fiscal year 2025-26 as a continuing appropriation

Eligible grant recipients include counties, cities, villages, towns, and federally recognized Indian tribes or bands

Projects must qualify for funding under the federal transportation alternatives program

DOT is required to establish application requirements and criteria for evaluating and awarding grants
