Expands child labor permit requirements from minors under 16 years old to all minors (anyone under 18 years old) for gainful employment and street trades in Wisconsin

Employers must obtain written work permits from the Department of Workforce Development or designated permit officers before employing any minor

Maintains existing exemptions including work around the home not connected to the employer's business, certain nonprofit yard work for elderly or disabled individuals, farming for those 12 and older, youth apprenticeships for those 14 and older, and election inspector positions

Prohibits issuing permits for employment during hours when the minor is required to attend school, with high school diplomas or equivalency diplomas accepted as proof of completion

Takes effect on the first day of the 7th month after publication
