Mandates insurers notify dental providers electronically or in writing within 45 days when their contract has been rented to another entity, identifying the specific entity

Entities that obtain dental provider networks through rental must abide by all terms and conditions of the original contract, including discounted rates and fees

Dental providers may terminate participation with a rented entity without terminating their original contract with the primary insurer

Applies to contracts or agreements entered into, modified, or renewed on or after the effective date of the act
