Permits public protective services agencies (law enforcement, fire, EMS) to operate drones over schools for search and rescue, locating escaped prisoners, executing arrest warrants, or preventing imminent danger or evidence destruction

Violations subject to forfeiture of up to $5,000, matching the existing penalty for unauthorized drone operation over correctional institutions

Law enforcement must seize any photographs, videos, or visual data recorded by drones during violations and transfer them to the appropriate law enforcement agency
