UW System institutions must disclose the course format (in-person only, online only, or hybrid) when first publishing course listings for each semester or session

Institutions are prohibited from changing a course format after the enrollment period begins

Students cannot be charged incidental or supplemental fees for exclusively online courses unless the fee covers actual costs specific to online delivery or the same fee is charged for equivalent in-person courses

Fee restrictions take effect for the first semester beginning at least 30 days after the act's effective date

Course format disclosure requirements take effect for the first semester beginning at least 90 days after the act's effective date
