Department of Natural Resources required to provide large metal containers throughout Wisconsin where hunters can dispose of deer carcasses, with DNR responsible for regular disposal of deposited carcasses

$1,000,000 appropriated for deer carcass disposal sites during the 2025-27 fiscal biennium ($500,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2026-27)

$500,000 appropriated for hunter education about chronic wasting disease and proper carcass disposal during the 2025-27 fiscal biennium ($250,000 per fiscal year)

Total appropriation of $1,500,000 in state funds to the DNR general program operations account
