Department of Natural Resources must notify county health departments, tribal health departments, and county land and conservation departments when groundwater protection standards or PFAS standards are exceeded

Notifications must be sent within 7 business days after DNR verifies an exceedance has occurred

Adjacent counties must also be notified if DNR determines they may be negatively affected by the exceedance

DNR must create and maintain a notification system for alerting relevant departments about these exceedances

Act takes effect on the first day of the 7th month after publication
