Creates a new statutory cause of action allowing students to sue private for-profit colleges (proprietary schools) that provide materially false, fraudulent, or misleading information

Expands existing student remedies beyond the current right to sue schools operating without required state approval

Prevailing students may recover tuition and fees paid to the school, court costs, disbursements, and reasonable attorney fees

Applies only to conduct occurring on or after the effective date of the law (not retroactive)

Amends Wisconsin Statute 440.52(10)(f), which governs regulation of proprietary schools by the Department of Safety and Professional Services
