Wisconsin would enter the Driver License Compact (DLC), an interstate agreement for sharing driver licensing and conviction information among member states

Requires party states to report motor vehicle convictions of out-of-state drivers to the driver's home state, which then takes administrative action (suspension, revocation, or limitation) as if the violation occurred there

Mandatory recognition applies to serious offenses: vehicular manslaughter/negligent homicide, DUI of alcohol or drugs, felonies involving motor vehicles, and hit-and-run accidents causing death or injury

Prohibits states from issuing licenses to applicants whose licenses are suspended or revoked in another party state, or who currently hold a valid license in another party state

States may withdraw with 6 months' notice, but withdrawal does not affect conviction reports made prior to withdrawal
