Private for-profit postsecondary schools would be prohibited from enrolling Wisconsin residents if more than 80% of their annual revenue comes from federal student aid funds in 2 of the 3 preceding fiscal years

Stricter than federal law, which only requires proprietary schools to derive at least 10% of revenue from non-federal sources (this bill requires 20%)

Department of Safety and Professional Services must promulgate rules to administer the new revenue source requirement

Applies beginning in the 2028-29 academic year
