Veterans (as defined in 38 USC 101) would be exempt from vehicle admission receipt requirements at Wisconsin state parks and certain state recreational areas

Gold star family members who qualify for a gold star lapel button under 10 USC 1126 (a)(1) to (3) would also receive free vehicle admission to state parks

Gold star lapel button eligibility applies to immediate family members of U.S. armed forces members who died while serving during a time of conflict

The exemption applies to any vehicle except motor buses, provided an occupant produces evidence of veteran status or gold star family eligibility
