Health insurance policies and self-insured governmental health plans must cover sterilization procedures and patient education and counseling as part of existing contraceptive coverage requirements

Amends Wisconsin statute 632.895(17)(b)2 to expand mandatory coverage beyond contraceptive-related services

Removes previous limitation that tied coverage to "if covered for any other drug benefits under the policy or plan"

Takes effect on the first day of the 4th month after publication, with delayed implementation for policies affected by collective bargaining agreements
