Child victims and child witnesses in human trafficking cases must be provided courtroom supports that the court finds necessary to protect their health, safety, or liberty and are in the interest of justice.

Identifying information of child victims and child witnesses must be sealed from public disclosure in both criminal proceedings and civil actions related to human trafficking violations under sections 940.302 and 948.051.

Courts may only order disclosure of a child's identifying information after holding a hearing that considers the child's health, safety, and liberty and determines disclosure serves the interest of justice.

Applies to violations of Wisconsin statutes 940.302 (human trafficking) and 948.051 (trafficking of a child).
