Expands the Department of Justice's Office of School Safety to include Wisconsin technical colleges, requiring the office to create model campus safety practices, compile blueprints and critical mapping data, and offer staff training

Mandates each technical college district board establish and maintain a campus safety plan with individualized safety plans for each building, emergency procedures, and guidelines addressing violence, threats, fire, weather emergencies, and intruders

Requires district boards to conduct on-site safety assessments with local law enforcement before creating or updating campus safety plans, and to review and approve plans at least every three years

Technical colleges must submit blueprints or interactive critical mapping data to local law enforcement and the Office of School Safety, with campus safety plans filed annually beginning January 1, 2027

Makes technical colleges eligible for existing Department of Justice safety improvement grants and interactive critical mapping data grants, funded from the appropriation under s. 20.455 (2) (f)
