Approved storage methods include: locked fireproof safes, locked steel gun cabinets, vaults, or windowless internal rooms with steel security doors and deadbolts

Display cases must have steel frames (minimum 12 gauge), hardened steel locks, and either quarter-inch smash-proof polycarbonate or laminate-protected glass (minimum 0.008 inch thickness)

Firearms may be secured with hardened steel rods or cables (minimum 1/8 inch diameter) through trigger guards, with bolt-cutter-resistant locks

Street-level stores using display cases or cable systems must also install vehicle barriers (bollards, security planters) or locking steel roll-down doors on entrances and windows
