Exempts specified agricultural warehouses from automatic fire sprinkler system requirements when storing liquid bulk fertilizer/pesticide (if in DATCP-compliant secondary containment) or dry bulk fertilizer/pesticide

Applies only to warehouses with construction initiated after the bill's effective date; defines "specified agricultural warehouse" as buildings primarily designed to store fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, rodenticides, insecticides, and crop protection products for distribution to agricultural producers

Requires warehouse owners to notify the local fire department chief that water should not be used to suppress fires at the facility and to provide updates on any changes to chemicals stored

Exemption does not apply to offices or retail stores within or attached to the warehouse, nor to warehouses containing offices without a fire egress route that bypasses chemical storage areas

State and local governments retain authority to require other fire detection, prevention, or suppression measures beyond automatic sprinkler systems
